WORSHIP
A Wilderness Outreach
Expedition starts at the trail
head of a wilderness area.
From there the men hike
between 5 and 20 miles to
the base camp. After the
base camp is set up the first
act of Worship occurs;
searching for and
discovering where the
Sanctuary will be located for
 the celebration of daily
Mass. Then the Altar of
Sacrifice is constructed.

Still other men do the fine
detail work of chinking and
leveling the stones.Some
masculine confrontation
occurs about what stones to
use and building methods,
but in the end the Altar gets
built and it is good.
"Then they took unhewn stones, as the law directs, and
built a new Altar like the former one" Maccabees 4:47
The work begins the typical way that
men work together; minimal planning
and getting right into the building.
Each man goes out and finds the
rocks that he is drawn to and then
carries them to the Altar site. Some
men become the mules while other
men start to build the Altar with the
stones provided.
Prayer
.Days and evenings are filled with prayer. The Liturgy of the Hours is
prayed morning, evening and night. The Angelus
is prayed at 6:00
am, 12:00 noon and 6:00 pm. The
prayer for Masculine Integrity is
recited at 1
0:00 am and 2:00 pm. The discipline of Solitude and
Silence is observed each day
before or following the celebration of
the Mass.
When the work, the struggle
and the asceticism begin to
lead a man to question his
ability to endure, he prays to
the Holy Mother for her
intercession.
