Wilderness Outreach

Worship, Prayer and Work combined to clear 8 miles of the Black Range Crest Trail in the Aldo Leopold Wilderness. All the work was accomplished with cross cut saws, machetes and double bit axes.
Chris and Clayton saw up a 2' diameter aspen blocking the trail while Brett waits his turn.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ and masculine spirituality filled our prayer, homilies and work. The core of our being created by God calls all men to an adventure with Christ, a battle against evil and winning humanity for God.

8 MILES OF TRAIL WERE CLEARED OF FALLEN TREES WITH CROSSCUT SAWS AND DOUBLE BIT AXES. 22 MILES OF TRAIL CLEARING REMAIN TO BE DONE. ONE LENGTH OF TRAIL, ABOUT 200 YARDS LONG, HAS 115 TREES FALLEN ACROSS IT. WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR AND THE YEAR AFTER, UNTIL WE FINISH THE JOB.
