Join the fathers, sons, and men of Wilderness Outreach for a weekend adventure of camping and hiking in the Tar Hollow State Forest.
The campout will include meals, campfires, discussions about masculine spirituality and the prayers of the Liturgy of the Hours.
2:oo pm Friday is the suggested arrival time due to the backpack in camp, though later arrivals may be accommodated.
The Saturday Hike will begin at camp and take in a loop in Tar Hollow State Forest. Some cross cut saw work may be involved!
We plan on celebrating the Vigil Mass in camp on Saturday evening. Stay tuned for an update.
Please plan on showing up early, 2:00 pm Friday, if you can to help pack food and supplies into the camp. We hope to break camp early Sunday morning so that we can head home by early afternoon.
This weekend is for fathers and sons of ages 8 and up.
The cost of the weekend is $40 per participant.
The registration fee for a Local Trek covers meals and other trek related costs.
